For all of you who prefer debating in English, especially for students from abroad, we offer
English debates in the format British Parliamentary Style (BPS).
You are a beginner and have little or no experience in debating? No problem:
Before the actual debate one of our club members will give you an introductory briefing on
procedure and rules of the BPS-format, to prepare you for your first debate.

Winter Term 2019/20
On the 6th of November there will be a general introduction into the format BPS before the debate.
After this kickoff, there will be a debate on the first Tuesday of the month, taking place in room D 2003.

To wrap things up, here’s a summary of dates:

·       5th of November (kickoff): Introduction to BPS for beginners

·       3rd of December

·       7th of January
